“Rewire: From Waste to Resource,” takes a more intricate approach by constructing an installation from discarded wire cables and circuit boards, blending art with digital detritus, revealing the internal workings of our digital devices and showcasing exposed pathways and components of circuit boards, aiming to inspire a deeper reflection on the lifecycle of technology and the consequences of unchecked digital consumption, emphasizing the need for sustainable practices in managing e-waste and offering a visual metaphor for how we can repurpose discarded materials for a more eco-conscious future.

“Digital Detritus: A Journey Through Digital Consumerism” confronts the rapid accumulation of e-waste by transforming discarded electronics into a sprawling representation of digital consumption, featuring a mass of televisions and computer monitors displaying a constant stream of images, reflecting the nonstop flow of information we experience daily, highlighting the environmental and mental impact of our endless consumption of digital content.

Both proposals challenge viewers to rethink their relationship with technology, urging them to adopt more responsible and sustainable approaches to digital consumption and waste management.
